Energy efficiency · CAE

We pay for the upgrade. You keep a share of the savings.

Spain's 2026 energy-savings obligation is approximately 9,325 GWh, and up to 92% may be satisfied through CAEs. Obligated companies buy certificates rather than pay the penalty.

That demand funds the work. ClearSky covers up to 100% of approved capex on qualifying efficiency projects. The host pays nothing up front, keeps a share of every euro saved, and never touches the certificate process.

Where this stands

We entered the efficiency market in 2026, using the origination and execution relationships our reforestation business already runs across rural and industrial Spain. We are working on our first anchor project and are in negotiation with obligated buyers. We expect to generate our first certificates in 2027.
